lost souls

An exploration of ink in the context of a physical installation. A drop of white or gold ink was dropped into water drawn circles. The natural formation of the ink creates a beautiful circular mark. Once dried, the ink drops were cut out. For the physical installation, each drop was placed on a large window with a center being the densest and the rest of the dot dissipating out.

 

Conceptually, each dot represents our souls existing in this universe and we one part of the larger celestial sphere.
