Role: Design Director

To promote the Comedy Starts Here campaign, we took over 4 different locations at SDCC and showcased 3 different shows for a takeover of the whole block! We built an immersive Brooklyn 99 experience, in the Gaslamp Quarter, featuring a complete recreation of the 99th Precinct. Within the Precinct, guests were tasked to compete in a heist.

There was also a Comedy Cafe that celebrated NBC comedy legends. The Superstore was in the Hard Rock Hotel Lobby, where guests could receive their very own employee of the month photo, and also peruse NBC parody items in the store. Lastly MaryJane’s became the Inter-dimensional Hole of Pancakes from the Good Place, where guests may meet the time knife as they eat. All the shows worked together to create the ultimate NBC experience!
